Porsche Crest Brain fart ???

I have a chance to trade my 3.0 for a 3.2, now the questions, I already have the headers for the 3.0, will they work on the 3.2? I also have the 3.0 to 901 clutch/flywheel kit, will this work with the 3.2? I may end up using the iSystems 915 conversion which switches to a push clutch so you could use it in a 914. They are already helping me out with the 901 for my 914 I stock club racer that I'm building.
TIA

The headers for the 3.0 vs 3.2 should be the same.....

If you are using the 3.2 with FI you need to take into account the flywheel sensors that need to be mounted. You need to drill a hole in the bellhousing of the Transmission to accomodate the sensors..... A couple of guys here have 3.2 conversions and can give you more detail......

The 901 transmission should be fine for the 3.2 just do not beat 1st gear... using the 915 transmisson is doable but is a PITA.

Porsche Crest

Thanks Joe,
I talked to Levon at iSystems today, and he said the same thing, use the 901, I already have two of their billet intermediate plates (one for the racer, one for the six) and he showed me a new product, a billet pulley to replace the nylon stock pulley on the tranny, very cool.
