9:14 Breakfast in San Jose on Saturday!!!
Everybody remember what is happening this Saturday??? This Saturday, at precisely 9:14 am it will be, once again, the monthly 914 breakfast in San Jose. Bring your cars and car stories to share and learn from others. Jon W hinted that he too would really have his 914, or an image of his car there. McDonalds does not require reservations for our breakfast, so just show up and join in the fun if you are interested. Don’t forget about the HUGE 914 day on Saturday, September 14th, at El Cerrito. Jeff, where in San Jose? The RoadGlue Event Calendar only shows the date of the event and not the location?

Put the cursor over teh underlined date and click and you get this...
9:14am as usual. Meet at the same San Jose Location as the last couple of months, it works well and is easy to find. Suggest a new place if you are so inclined. From Hwy 280 in San Jose, from either direction, take the Meridian Avenue exit. Go north (towards the bay) on Meridian avenue 5-6 blocks and the restaurant is at the intersection of Meridian and West San Carlos. If thats what it takes to get you there Bradster bring 'em. That would liven things up a bit...How many can you fit in a 914? Don't answer that...
We are looking for new place to meet next month...someplace better than McDs...any ideas? Maybe up by Dave Darlings place again? |

Oh I get it...I'm slow sometimes...wire strippers are useful on a 914 but I didn't know Hooker made a 914 header...

The closer you get to DD's place the smaller the parking lots get.
You know what would keep people from crying about where the breakfast events are held ?? A place somewhere off of 237 in Milpitas. This would be conveniant for everyone. 880 from east bay and south SJ. 101 for penisula people. I cant think of a breakfast place over there, but the there are several places to eat off of the McCarthy ranch exit. The parking lots are all big surrounding that particular area. B |
