They actually have 3 cars, all 914-4's listed in autotrader for over $18,000.00. I would expect them to have gold letters on the engine grill - 24K GOLD!

????????
Well, most people can only be poked so much....I have often wondered how they sleep at night knowing that they totally screw people day after day. There should be some kind of award that the AA dealers give out each year to each other on who screwed someone the best and made the most profit off it.. Is there a site where you can see all the complaints with the BBB that they have??Id be interested to see that.

The car on the rennlist is very nice but $69,900? I can only assume that there was a decimal point error in the add. It looks like it might fetch $6,900.

For every type of collector car, there is a dealer out there that charges way too much for their stock, betting on consumers who don't know the difference.
Years ago, I used to build daily driver street corvettes. A nicely restored mid 60's vette was around 15-20k, not much more than that now. But there was a place in Miami with a beautiful showroom and slimey sales guys that would sell the same cars for double the price. They offered floor financing at 19% and home equity loans so you could "drive a dream corvette for no money down and $250 a month!" They did a booming business. They still do. AA is the same thing. The buyers are making an emotional purchase, not a rational purchase. I make my living off of researching buying habits and tv viewing patterns. Can you tell?
