Talking Valve Adjustment A succes

Thanks to all 'o yous that came to my aid inabling me to understand the valve adjustment proceedure. Once I got my bigass self into the engine bay and past the spark plugs it was a piece of cake! The proceedure went quite smoothly and I found 2 valves to be tight. I think that was the cause for the poor running and strange noises. I was enjoying being under the 914, discovering various aspects of the German engineers psyche. (it'd be a lie if I said I understood it!) I really started having fun after my wife brought me out a drink of whiskey & coke. Man, what a party!
So here's to all that have fun in and under our wonderful 914's.
