It is Mega based. We are really holding out for the ignition piece. I would like to have the option of crank trigger built in.
I have several "other" brains that we can use that come in under 300$ PBA (Paul Brad Anders) Thansk for the tips on cold start. We started the tuning setup really really fat on cold start. I will also take into consideration the duty cycle. B |
We WILL have a laptop programmable system for 914's complete for under 800$ before the end of the year.
...Only if you can keep Mike from selling the whole car before he figures out the tuning!!! LOL!!!!http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/lol2.gif --DD |
See Dave,
We have multiple running cars to test with. You can upload the program and tweak it for any engine. Doesnt have to be Mikes. B |
"Multiple running cars"?? I see the words, but I do not understand them... What a curious concept--cars that actually run? And more than one of them?
I must go and think upon this for a while.... ;) BTW, Brad (PBA) checked out a mess of EFI parts for me. One of the MPSes is bad. As in, won't hold a vacuum at all!! That might explain some of the rich-running problems... Don't'cha think? --DD |
That would explain it.
I have several more that I have tested good if you need to borrow one. Have PP cough up a 500$ new one for you...lol B |
Well, one of them tested out OK. Lost some vacuum, but only a little, in the test. The bad one just wouldn't hold at all, evidently. :(
BTW, I know I have your red ECU. It's been tested by PBA and found to be in-spec. Which you knew already... What else do I have of yours?? --DD |
I have few headaches here in the shop if you would like to have those.
Otherwise, it doesnt matter what you have of mine. If I needed it I would have asked for it. Just get the damn thing running. B |
