sway bar bushing?
 

the bushings on my 73' a pretty well wallowed out. please pro and con on which way to go, stock rubber (pelican has them) or an aftermarket type. strut/shock combo to be determined as checking account recovers. use will be 98% street, hopefully a little auto-x if my driving skills don't embarass me too much. i don't want my fillings rattled out or have to pee every 35 miles. goal is to have a car that could handle the run up and down the west coast in comfort.

For comfort, go stock. The rubber will absorb a little of the suspension movement.

For more precise handling, go harder aftermarket. The harder material will keep the bar from wobbling so that it works better. It will also transmit more vibration to the cockpit. Probably not a lot if it's just the sway bar bushings. But it will squeak. If not right away, eventually.

will be installing a turbo tie rod kit so i know that will help w/ the steering. i sure don't want a bunch of squeeks.
