Well it took over 2 years and it is finally done. It's a 71 with a
2.4 liter 4.The color is Corvette Millenium Yellow.Every thing
has been either replaced, replated or repainted. It also has a 911 dash & 87 Carrera suspension.
I would like to thank everyone I purchased parts from and also

Nice! I like the dash and steering wheel. Looks like you can play "Need for Speed" in the real world.

Hars914,

Nice work! Looks very good.

Is your dash a Getty? Is the finish bare fiberglass or did you cover it with a material, such as vinyl?

How's your 2.4 running? Maybe you could describe your engine for us?

Thanks,
Mike

The dash is from Ma Shaw which was covered in vinyl.I paid
$240.00 for the dash and it cost me about $100.00 to get it covered.Installing it was easy. The motor is a 2.0L with 104
pistons, Weber 40 carbs,Kerry Hunter headers,Crane Ignition,
all sheet metal powder coated and I also have a new trans with short ratio gears. Here are some pictures.
Thanks for all the good comments.

THAT is a work of art!

...how loud is it without the soundpad? (not that I'd care if my engine bay looked that professional!)

Thanks for the info about the dash. The engine compartment looks geat. Very nicely detailed. Puts mine to shame. Thanks for all of the photos.

Please stop no more photo's..... your killing me....

WOW!

What a great job you have done on your car. You have put the Porsche/VW engineers and designers to shame with your work. I hope to get a closer look at a future 914 gathering on the east coast.

Mine needs so much more work now that I have seen yours

Again, good job!

Kerry

Hars914,

What did you do to the fan shroud and engine case. The finish is very consistent. Are these painted?
