I have the same problem as daveporshe1...I tried to open the drivers door today and the key moves the lock to the open position but when I try to open the door ...it won't open. The same problem with the passenger's door. I had a locksmith try and open it today and he couldn't get it open. I don't want to break a window either and don't know that if I did and reached in..if either door will open. I need help badly!

I realy can't think of a way to open the door when both handles are broken, If it was one, you could remove the arm rest and door trim and access the latch. Not sure what to do about two.

I opened a post in our forums. A Pelican community member may be able to answer your question.

Pry the corner of the window away from the roof. Use a bent coat hanger to unlatch the top latch. Then the roof will be lose enough for you to reach in and lower the window or use the coat hanger again to hook the inside door handle.

As for your handles, sounds like the old plastic slider has broken the tab off the connects to the door latch mechanism.

On the left is the old stock slider, the middle one is broken, on the right is a new one.
