I'm assuming that on the 914-4to6 rear wheel stud conversion, I can also use a 69 912 wheel hub?? Also since your article specifically states 69-71 911 wheel hub, I'm assuming a pre-69 rear wheel hub would not work. I have a chance to p/u 912 parts for my conversion but the guy is not sure which year 912 he has note: the rear discs had a drum setup f/the handbrake.

All of the 911 rear brakes had the internal drum brake parking brake.

The 66-68 cars used either 901.331.065.01 or 901.331.065.07 , and had very odd drive shafts made by Nadella. They used some odd universal joints on the half-shaft, with the inboard one looking kind of folded over on itself.

In 69, they switched to 901.331.065.09, and went with the more typical constant-velocity joints, made by Loebro (or Lobro).

The two do not interchange, sorry to say.

1969 912 Wheel Hub
 
I drove 911s back in those days and the Nadella axle shafts were pretty well worn out and gone by 1967. Those of us that still had them converted to the first generation of Loebros used on the 1967-68 911s.
The 2nd version of the Loebro was introduced in 1969. It had a larger diameter and was retained by 2 roll pins and 4- 10mm bolts.
911s and 912s used the same axle shafts and flanges 1966-69.
