Carpet replacement
It is time to replace the carpet in my car. What has been your experience with replacing the original factory carpet in your 914? Pelican lists about three different choices. Is the domestic cut pile (Pelican's least expensive offering) a good choice for a non-concours car? Do the replacement pieces fit well? Do you have a color preference?

I don't know the answer, but I just asked Tom to send me some samples to look at. You might give him a call yourself and get some color samples to choose from.

I went with the domestic cut pile since I will have floor pads down. Tom sent me a nice color swatch set to choose from. Champagne was the closest match to original in my '74 with brown interior.
