Question After market fuel rail

I saw this aluminum fuel rail being sold on Ebay that consists of, what looks like 1 inch square tubing, nipples on each end and two nipples offset from the center to which the injectors are attached. It looks to be the same configuration as stock only bigger. One rail has a pressure gauge attached. They are saying this larger diameter aids in performance due to keeping a larger amount of fuel closer to the injectors and vapor lock is less likely to happen. I can't understand how this larger diameter can help when the system is already pressurized keeping a constant flow of fuel to the injectors. Is this really a beneficial product or are these guys out to make a quick $175?
What'cha all think?

The latter. Are you aware of any fuel starvation problems with the stock set-up?

If this worked, which it doesn't, why wouldn't everybody just install larger diameter fuel injection hose?

Not sure if I'm starving or too rich. After the car gets warm I need to rev up to 1200-1500 rpms to insure smooth acceleration from a stop light otherwise the car boggs down, then I have to pump the crap outta it to get the revs up and take off. I had a fuel leak at the injector hose and noticed I had 2.0 liter injectors after I removed the injector. I have a 1.7. I've been thinking this could add to or be my whole problem.......

It looks nice? Perfomance advantage - harrumph - the only performance is the ability to get $175.00 outa your wallet faster.

Vapor lock? wrap those funky little fuel tubes with heat reflecting or heat resistance material (header tape?). The should solve it.

I think I'll start selling "RARE RIGHT" hand outside rear view mirrors.

BOGUS!!! Just a rip off. $50 for the set would be a reasonable price to get a nice alloy rail with a gauge on it. But claiming increased performance for a fuel system that is already pressurized to 30 l`pounds is ridiculous.
