San Diego get together - 09/03/2002
Another 914 guy from the "rust belt" is coming out to San Deigo next week. He'd like to get together and have a beer, BS 914s and drool over our "rust free" cars.
Anyone interested? James Other than me?

Hell ya! Definetly need to know what time though. I start fall semester that day with 18 units so I may be swamped. Better if later. Looking at my schedule anything after noon is bueno. Man could this be!

I was thinking more along the lines of after work for me....
6:00 PM. We need a place with a parking lot, so we can line up the teens. Mike: Maybe you can take this guy over to Symbolic and the two of you can drool over the cars (just don't get an drool actually _on_ the cars....) Suggestions on a place? Although not my top choice, Dave and Dusters has a good sized parking lot. Gordon Beirsch might also work (except I really don't care for their beer). Nothing downtown has the parking we need. PB bar and grill has parking across the street and the PB women to ogle. Other suggestions? James

I'm in.
Well, except for the parking lot I'd suggest my restaurant. Actually, the day after labor day is historically the slowest day of the year for us. There may be plenty of parking around 6.

2444 San Diego Ave. SD, CA 92101 We just went through a million dollar remodel. The Brigantine is gone (still owned by the Brig, just a whole different concept) The food is incredible, the ambience is great and we get to eat and drink at half price! Such a deal!
