replacing impeller

I need to replace my impeller. I removed the three screws and figured it should just pull straight out. Do I have to remove the front blower housing or is it just stuck?

Also before I put the engine back, can I bring my altenator to my local FLAP to have it checked like I would my starter?

The fan is just stuck. Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle it. You should be able to get it rocking a little bit and then pull it off.

Your FLAPS should be able to test the alternator. They may not have the right part number for the replacement one, though. (Misprint in the catalog used by a lot of FLAPS.)
