turn sign and light problem

I have been working for three weeks on this problem and any help would be great.
The turn signals work and hazard work but when I turn the lights on the tail lights and front turn signals all blink when I turn on the signals left or right on.
I have replaced the hazard switch and the head light switch and I still have the problem. I think I am missing something but I can not get it.
If someone has had this problem and solved it could you let me know.
Thanks

A little history on when this problem arose might be helpful. Were the lights working correctly at some point and if so, other than what you have described have you done to it that might affect the lighting system? Is it possible you reversed any of the connections to the tailights? I'm sure others will chime in with other thoughts.

Good luck,

Keith

You have the wrong lamp installed in the front signals most likely. You need European 1157 lamps. These have 2 oval shaped electrodes unlike the US version that has round electrodes.

My guess is you have an 1156 US lamp installed and not an 1157 Euro.

Thanks for info.
I try a lot and I found a ground in the engine bay that was off. Three weeks and that was the problem. I have been doing a complete restoration on 1975 2.0L 914. This has been a 4 year project.
Thanks for the help.
