light cover adjustment

The headlight covers on my car look like they need adjusting to square them up with the bonnet when down, they also seem a bit lower than the bonnet at the bottom, how do you adjust them
Thanks

is it the whole motor operating assembly that needs adjustment. the lever arm to the motor maybe off a slot or two (splined shaft in most I've seen). must disengage the current position and rotate it then put nut back on.
it's not that easy without some effort/time.

The arms that the hold the highlight carrier are adjustable to some extent. If I recall correctly there are three on each side. Loosen them and position correctly. The one bracket is inside the fender well. I'd do that before playing with the adjustment of the actuating lever.

there are 2 allen screws inside the fender well for a pivot and there are three inside the trunk for the other pivot. its not much adjustment. this is easy to do before playing with the motor operating arm to the headlight bucket.
there maybe some adjustment in the three screws for the motor to the inside trunk mount. its also a minor amount.
