Funny Phone call

So.. I'm answering phones yesterday at a certain exhaust company and a phone call rings in: "Hello, is John there" << caller "No he is not, may I take a message or help you out with a problem" << me "can you tell him him George Hussey called" << caller "George with AA correct" ??? << Me "yes, Georger with AA" << caller "No problem George, I'll tell him you called when he returns" < I hung up laughing my ass off about what I wish I could have said to him. Unfortunately he buy's quite a bit from the exhaust company soo.. I cant exactly slam him on the phone. A day full off wrong number calls from Kaiser people and good old George himself calls... LOL B

It caught me by surprise. I was trying not to laugh. Problem is: I have to be nice to everybody that calls no matter who it is. B

OK, I know he wrote the 914 tech tips. And I've heard a few other snide remarks about him but, really, I'm in the dark. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Spare us the sore typing fingers and do a search for AA in the 914 archives. You'll be there a while.

Ask them about the layaway option for the steel 914 flares, they take yer money and you never get the flares..... Oh, oh.....how about the "secret wharehouse"....that's a good one.....or the rust free original 914/6 with the 914/4 steering column and the loose VIN plate...... Stop me now......

New parts with plier marks in them - musta been removed from the rust free -6 A junk yard is a junk yard, but you can assign a fancy name to it if you wish. Yep - GH4, a combo of billy beer and bad peanuts - just look at their ripoff of PP's site and a POORLY done ripoff at that. You buy; I'll bag.

LOL!!! Funny you should mention that. I just went to the AA Archives and read all about that. I was forced (not hard) to wondering about them after my last order a little over a year ago. I'd won a bid for fuses on EvilBay (not realizing they were offered from AA), didn't get them, called them, got them 2 days later then received 2 more batches of fuses 4 days later. I guess I came out on the good smell'n end of the stick! (they must have a case of the old chinese constipation thing "headupass")!

Brad wrote: "Problem is: I have to be nice to everybody that calls no matter who it is" You mean you don't have an attitude on the phone? I guess we'll all call you then, instead of mailing you (and see how long it take before you've got a phone-attidude as well) Cheers, Jeroen
