New 914 owner, saying HI

HI all, just want to introduce myself. I'm new to this message board. I'm a 22 year old student going to SJSU, majoring in Marketing, (Looking for work right now!, hint hint). I currently race a '74 2.0L with 911/914-6 5 lug brake and wheel conversion. Hope to get the car ready for the SCCA school next year so I can start racing with POC and SCCA. I currently run with PCA. here's a pic.

I have been Doing open track events and AutoX's for the past 2 years, mostly driving my Honda CRX, which I have prepped for track and time trial events. The 914 is something I've always want to race, so I decided to pick one up as a project. I daily drive a rice rocket Honda Civic coupe, which has the basic hop ups on it. I hope to get tons of help with my build up of the 914. Thanks! here are some pics for you guys to enjoy.

That is Thill.

Nice to see some young guns starting to enjoy the 914.

Welcome aboard. Let me know when you need a SCCA legal cage.

Thanks for the warm welcoming. That is Thunderhill...

Yeah, I actually want to move the gas tank farther back, better weight dist. Front mount oil cooler should be in by next week or so. I try to keep the pictures up to date from time to time. Just keep checking the website.

I love the look of the 16x6's and 7's.

I'm currently building a white PCA BX car for time trial (Its going to be a rental car)

I'm surprised I havent ran across you at the track.

LateApex, Welcome,

The exhaust looks like a Bursch collector with a little new welding. Is that a two piece Bursch? Have you added a different muffler? If so what are you using and how does it work?

Thanks,
Mike

that muffler fell off at the track! hehe. I was wondering why my car was sooooo loud. So I had to borrow the Thunderhill welder and weld it back on. It's a Bursch, I believe. Came with the car. heat exchangers were swapped out for headers too. All that is gonna be replaced as they are rusting out. Believe me, you don't want to see what it looks like under there.
