How do I install the rubber speed nut clips
 

I am putting new 914 and 1.8 emblems on the back of my car. I have new emblems and the new rubber speed nut clips to go on the prong that goes into the hole in the car. The rubber speed nuts are too small to go on the prong. Is there some kind of lubricant I can use to soften the rubber and expand it so it will fit?

I'm not sure what your speed nuts look like but put them in boiling water. That will soften them without chemicals. Once they cool, they will firm up again.
