Square sway bar into round bushing?
So I've got the OEM front sway bar cleaned up, drop link bushings replaced and ready to install with Weltmeister Factory Performance Sway Bar Bushing PB-006. That bushing is a harder material than I've worked with before and I don't see how that's going to be pushed over those large square ends on the bar. Anybody got a tip?

Push the bushing on the shaft before you install the caps. Significant force may be required, even if you use a good silicone paste lubricant.

Boil the bushings in water. Take the pan off the stove and into the garage. The water will soften them up for install.

Thanks gents! I suspected boiling would soften the bushing. A little dish soap might help lubricate also.

You are going to want to grease with Lithium or something similar. Fitting with grease zirk will go along way to keep that bar from sticking.
