steering hub ?'s
Can anyone tell me if a different steering wheel hub is needed for a 914/4, rather than a 914/6? I have a new MOMO hub, and I was told its for a 914/6. But I have a 1973 /4. Do I need a different one?

Yep, I am fairly certain the hubs are different. The 914/6 has early 911-type splines.
You can double-check by test fitting the hub with about 45 seconds of work...

I have Lou Gehrigs Disease, so I have to get the proper hub before I have a buddy help. I try to do as much as I can (the planning and prep work)
