Turn signal light sockets

Anyone have any suggestions on replacement turn signal sockets or rebuild them.

Anyone going LED?

Check over on 914World.com; there is a thread for LED lighting that addresses the rear and front of the car http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=233408 Maybe that will work for you?

Spoke on 914World.com is making the LED conversions. He is making them for the front turn signals too. I believe our cars suffer from invisibility on the road, particularly when it is dark out. On my car I plan to convert to LED lights front and rear as well as the warts (front side-marker lights). I am also adding a high-mount 3rd brake light into the targa bar trim. I like the LED's as they are far brighter and therefore more visible as well as reducing the electrical draw. I have yet to decide what I am going to do re headlights, but I want to upgrade those as well.

914 LED Headlights

On the subject of LED lighting, I swapped out the old dim candle burning sealed beam headlights with bright new sealed round LED headlights. Talk about a difference in lighting and visibility. It is literally day and night. I went with the GE 69821 Nighthawk 7" Round LED Headlamp. Direct plug and play. Absolutely no issues and they look incredible. No flickering or any performance issues to date.
