Tried that

I did that , and it still doesn't work. Bought another "working clock" off renegade site, that one doesn't work either, so I suppose I'll try and fix both, maybe I'll get one that works. I also remember reading about a BMW quartz gut transplant. Anyone know which clock you use for that?

Just send it to North Hollywood Speedometer or Palo Alto Speedometer. They fixed mine on the last car I owned. It wasn't that much, and they refurbed it as well. Looked and worked like new!

Think of all the money and time you are wasting buying broken clocks, messing with BMW clock guts, shipping, etc.. What's your time worth? Send it to an expert and be done with it!

I know sometimes it's just the fun of fixing it yourself though!

Regards,

Ya, it's fun to fix it yer self. I took 2 speedos and made one good one. Probably took a while longer than the experts but I learned something and now, I can post what I learned... if anyone ever asks... soon... hurry... before I forget what I....
