New Porsche Guy need plug wire help

Hi I did a really stupid thing, I mixed up the plug wires on my 1.8 914. It ran (badly) but in my haste to diagnose I lost my plug wire diagram. I'm hoping someone can look at the picture and tell me what goes where. I hope below makes it simple. As always. Thanks!

A
B
C
D

DF. (Driver Front)
DR. (Driver rear)
PF. (Passenger Front)
PR. (Passenger Rear

The firing order is 1-4-3-2. Take off the distributor cap and find the little notch on the distributor body. That is the location of where the plug going to cylinder #1 sould line up. So, from the perspective of your picture, it appears to me that:

1. Wire from distributor plug C (which looks to be in the #1 position) should connect to the Driver Rear Cylinder (DR in your nomenclature) spark plug.

2. A should connect to cylinder #4 which is PF

3. B should connect to cylinder #3 which is PR

4. D should connect to cylinder #2 which is DF

Verify that notch in the distributor body, however!

Here's a picture from Pelican worth keeping:

You might be interested in knowing that the cylinder numbers are embossed right on to the top tin, just inboard of each spark plug hole, and they're large enough to be easily seen ............................
