Need advice

I've been on the board for a while. and have read many threads. an all types of Porsche's and have hands experience.
I've now found my self in a place I never would have thought I would be in. The
economy caught up with me and I can not support my hobby of cars.

I bought a 914-4 a few years ago from the original owner with 43,000 miles and now find myself having to sell it.
I see on e-bay this week someone has one for $30,000 and was thinking that I have something here. The car is hear perfect.

I don't like or deal with Auto Atlanta but he has had some high dollar car's on his site.
I also ran across a add from some car place that had a 914 for $79,000+ last weed.
Am I sitting on a GOLD MINE.
I've ALSO SEEN PEOPLE CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE SOLD THEIR CARS BACK TO THE MOTHER LAND FOR HIGH $$$$$$$$

So I'd LIKE SOME FEED BACK FROM SOME PEOPLE IN THE KNOW.

advice from the late Bruce Anderson - PCA's evaluation guru for many years:

"put it on eBay at triple reserve"

(in your case start at about ($9.99 opening bid and $180,000 reserve) and see how high the bids go

- that will tell you what someone is willing to pay at any given time :D

the guys i've talked to that sell on eBay say the real buyers show up after the auction closes by private contact, so put in all your contact info

.

You've got to have the right buyer at the right time to get any big $$$. You have to have all documentation, no questions and be willing to wait. I've seen great cars struggle at 15K, and I've seen owners with less thank stellar cars with stories expect over 20.

Btw there is a guy looking on the 914 world board for a good car and has a decent budget. He's in Florida...

Good Luck!
