Replace fuel level sender...

without pulling the whole gas tank?

Will it come out once the expansion tank's out of the way without pulling the hood or tank?

Thanks,

Don't need to remove tank- comes right out the top after taking off the little expansion tank. Just a pain to put a new one back in, lining up all the holes with the rubber gasket...

"Worthless"? Only if you like fuel fumes, big time, in the passenger compartment. You REALLY need to have the complete fuel vapor evap system intact and functioning. It's a truly passive emissions system, and there's no reason to remove any of it.
