Derek,
I'm running 205/55-16's on 16x6 Fuchs (Kumho Ecsta's). Didn't have to massage the fenders at all, but the rears are running as much negative camber as stock will allow. I'm told (let the flames begin) that the Michelin Sport Cup are way stickier than the Kumho's and a bit stickier than the Yoko's. They are also on sale at TireRack too. The inner front wheel well might rub at full lock, but I'm hoping you won't be doing full lock above 4 mph  . My speedo reads 3-4 mph high at true 70mph, so it's pretty close. Can't see the speedo anyway with the aftermarket steering wheel. |
I'm running the Yoko A0032R on mine in 205x55x15 on 7" rims. They fit under the rear unlike the 205x60 Dunlop Formula R. The Yokos ride much better than the Dunlops, although the Dunlop is more of a race tyre than a road tyre. The Yokos hang on prettty well and about a third of the field on any tarmac special stage rally will be on the Yoko with the rest split between Bridgestone and Dunlop.
