Check that you don't have a leaky fifth injector (cold start injector). If you have a fuel pressure guage, hook it up, pump up the system and then shut it down and watch the pressure. Any rapid leak down is a problem and may be a leaky injector. If you have rapid leak down, try pumping up the system again, shutting it down and then quickly clamping the supply line shut with vise graps and some wood scraps (don't clamp the lines directly for fear of cutting them) and watch the pressure. If this doesn't solve the leak down, it's an injector (or possibly a leaky line, but I'll assume if that's happening you've already noticed cause gas smells). By rapid leak down I mean losing 5-10 pounds in only a few minutes. Should hold strong for quite awhile, I forget what the actual readings should be.

Will email this as well...

Scott, unplug the TS1 by the throttle body, it adds about 10% to the AF ratio.

Checked the MPS? If it leaks down (does not hold vacuum steady), it will richen the mixture.

Turning down the ECU knob, if you have one, will only have effect at idle conditions.

If you put a resistor IN PARALLEL with the TS2, it will lean it out too, until engine reaches temperature, then it will have no effect.

Hope to see you at the Wramble.

I had a similar problem too. I found that it was the injector points on the bottom of the distributor. In my case it would stumble and run really rough up until 3000 rpm. Then it would clear up. It had me stumped for a bit, but after replacing them the car runs excellent.
