Hi, I have read the recent thread regarding machining rear hubs for five lugs and have two questions;
1/ What diameter are the new holes in the rear hub machined at, to ensure the correct interference when pressing in the factory lug bolts ? 2/ I have one 1970/71 rear hub with the extra raised areas, who would be prepared to sell me one more 1970/71 rear hub with the extra raised areas ? (They are hard to find in New Zealand) Many thanks |

FWIW, the early hubs are not absolutely necessary. I'm sure there have been thousands of 5 lug conversions done on later hubs and I've never heard of a failure.
