CR Pro/Fuel question
The po of my '73-2.0 installed a CR pro/fuel pressure regulator when he removed the efi. The in-line regulator can be adjusted to various pressures, but when experimenting with the top adjuster, it moves too easily, as if no change is actually being made. I have no problem with how the car is running, but looking for any info on this piece of equip. Thanks

Is it the crome round one with a round dial and has numbers 1-5 or 6 on the dial? Most of the people in the know that I have talked to refer to this type of regulator more of a liability than and asset. The best way to tell is to put a gauge inline after the regulator that way you know exactly the pressure the carbs are getting.

Oh s**t,
I have one of those. Maybe not for much longer if they are no good. There is a discussion about this on the 911 board today. Andrew |

I'm not sure which fuel pump you have, but your carbs can run with NO regulater if your using a typcial FACET or rotary fuel pump. The max these pumps put out is 3-5 PSI which is exactly what Weber/Dellorto manuels call for. Even the singel progressive Holley/Weber 2 barrel carb can run with this pump wide open.
Throw it away... or give it to neighbor kids to play with. B |
