Rear bilstein shock thread?

I just bought new Bilstein shocks and the thread on the top is M12x1,5, the threaded bushing thats original to the car is M12x1,25. Anyone else that has
experienced this or am I the first?

I'm surprised they didn't come with the nuts. In this case, you might want to simply Helicoil the old ones to fit your new shocks.

Yes that's one way to do it but I'm curious wether Bilstein has had M12x1.25 thread before and changed it recently or why its like this. I've searched and never found anyone else experiencing this issue.
