Whose Hot 914 in Frenchtown this afternoon?
I stopped in Frenchtown PA for coffee on my bike ride today and this beautiful 914 drove by. Perfect stance, sounded great and looked like a quality build.

That is an easy one to name.
It belongs to Dave Toppin and he lives in Pa. He built it from a 74 1.8 to a GT clone with a 3.2 six. Never met him, but we have been to the same events several times at Okteenerfest as well as Teenerpaluza You can find him on 914 world where he won. car of the month earlier this year. |

Dave is a friend of mine and I rode in the car a couple weeks ago. Super clean build with lots of really well done custom touches. He's a machinist but did everything on the car including bodywork and paint. One of my all time favorite Porsche's.
