Has anyone ever had any experience with the Carrera brand of shocks?

Craig at Camp 914 had some Carreras for sale quite a while back. A coil over front setup, IIRC. I folowed up with a call to Carrera ane they told me they were not in the Porsche market any longer. This could have changed. I didn't buy them from Craig because I was afraid that I would not be able to get replacement parts. Once again, this was a non-stock setup. Oh, and Craig said he was missing some retainers or something. I might have missed out on a smokin' deal?

Karl,
Carrera shocks were pretty widely used on 911's race cars during the 80's in IMSA. But now it is mostly the circle track group that run them. I think they are made in GA so if figures.

They still maintain them and will rebuild them. There are also a couple of other shops that rebuild them average cost is 15-20 bucks a shock.
