Jeff,

I have a car in the shop that uses the exact same rear fenders and they easily accomodate a 12inch wide slick.

The question is....... did they roll the fenders? or else strict judges will consider it not stock.

those are the guys who won the open track challenge this year. www.opentrackchallenge.com . That car is freakin wide. The pic has to be from Sears Point, I can tell by the rain gutters.

I talked to that guy before, the funny thing about the car is that he still has the original steel doors! weird!

Heres some recent shots of the same car. I talked to the guy he's been running it for about 15 years, interesting FI.

A couple more wide ones.

Yep. Pretty crazy running the 930 box upside down.

IMHO the turbo setup's and exhaust was huge ****** mess with the intercoolers in the fenders and what not.

IMSA body kit from AIR or several other places.

We put the exact same size tires and wheels under our Sheridan bodies.

Not to be a total part spammer (not the intent of this post), but that is a similar kit to the one I have on the parts classifieds. FWIW, the rears are supposed to fit 13 to 15s, and you are supposed to fit 10s or 11s up front. Yep, friggin wide. They look even bigger when you hold them up to your own car.

I have 930 steel flares all the way around on my car, plenty wide enough for me!
