Targa top headliner?

I must admit that I didn't even know there was such a thing until I just saw one on Eek-Bay. Mine does not and looks pretty decent. But it seems to make sense that a liner would cut down on noise.

Is it worth it to buy a 914 headliner? Or does it makes sense that a guy with a pair of sisors, headliner adhesive, and a fabric shop in town could get the same result for about $6 bucks?

It's just a chunk of perlon carpet glued in place - do it yourself.

Same stuff as trunk liner. Any FLAPs should have it. Do it yourself.

Garage
I did not like they way the perlon sheds...So I bought some black marine grade vinyl and using 3m super adhesive glue it in place. Across the entire top from under the aluminum/Aluminum trim and under the header pad. The vinyl butts against the rib at the rear. It is really slick looking. Maybe a little noisy in the rain. Also really easy to clean... An extra 1/8" of head clearence too!
