Interesting Spark Plug Failure!

This is a Bosch W7CC. Symptoms had me concerned that I had lost compression on that cylinder. Loss of power, raw fuel smell out of exhaust, and --once the shaft had worked itself out of the plug, fallen over, and shorting the plug wire to the engine sheet metal-- very rough running.

Cool.

I have never seen that happen.

Oh.. I get the best dyno numbers using W7DC's.

Don't you mean W7DTC's? With the triple electrode?

I'll bet I know who turned you on to those.

I run the triple in the 6cyl engines.

The 2.0 injected engines didnt show any improvement with that plug over a W7DC. I was short on time that day however..
