Hard to answer that one and it probably falls in the 'wait and see catagory'. I treated mine a few months back and was surprised to see that all visable surfaces remained covered even though the sealer was not that thick. I figured most of it would go to bottom of tank.........but I did follow the instructions which say to rotate tank after application of sealer to ensure all surfaces are covered and to prevent excessive buildup in bottom of tank.
You might want to contact the Por 15 folks and ask if you can reapply sealer to areas missed. I have found my regional rep. very knowledgable and responsive to my needs. You might be able to reach the area you mentioned with a brush vs. the pour and sloush method. John

Thanks, John. I didnt have this problem with my bug tank. I was thinking the same thing about the brush on idea.
