JP´s wheels

I saw pics from JP´s wheels in this thread:
One Inch in One Hour

Are those BBSs ?? Are they 7 or 8 inch wide. They look 16 inch tall. Are they ??

I am just curios cause I have bought set of 7x16 BBS wheels myself
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1756227977
and I will paint the gold centers black too. I think JP have very good taste (atleast with the wheels).

They are 15 X 7 BBS, Timo.
Did you get those for under 300 euro?
Yours are slightly different than mine.

My gold center paint was toast. I painted them black because I had some good satin, 2 part acrilic....whateverthehellitwas.
Getting that old paint off was pure hella.

Yes and no.... The price was under 300, but I had to pay the postage from Germany to Finland. That was about 80 euros. The PO/seller was super nice finding the cheepest way to post them in two big package. I think the total was about 350 euros.

Your wheels looks good. They do seem to be slightly different, but not much. Do they have the same ET, 23 mm ?? Mine are manufactuder 1986. Do you have any round stamps in the center section with two numbers in there ??

If you have more pics about them, please send them. I think somebody else would like to see them too.....

...oh, yes.... paint removing is giving me nightmares. The ugly gold paint sits on the center very hard. I have used stripper to remove most of it. The final removing I have done (from 1 wheel now) sand-blasting.

I read your post late last (2 AMish) night after getting off work.
I looked at the auction and started reading...." here is an alternative to the original Porsche Fuch wheel".....I was tired, having trouble reading.....wait, I can't read German.....lol.....humm, I wonder what it really said. I think reading Sammy's writings has helped me.

The tires & wheels are coming off this weekend. I'll snap some pics, look em' over and get back to you.
