Its Back!!!!
Picked up my car today! Runs good. I have waited over eight years for this moment. I am currently using the shops brain and mps, so as soon as I get those, its ballgame! There are a few electrical problems, but I will worry about those later!

It was my dads, he tried to convert to carbs, that failed, he lost interest.....I was too young then....saved $$$ and had it re-built. So yea major resto!

Congratulations....
You must have quite a bit of patients, In the past 14 years i have been without a running (sometimes just barely) 914 for a total of about 1 year combined. If one of my cars ever needed major work, I always had a second to drive, or I bought a project to work on while I drove another. At one point I had 4 in various shapes of disrepair... and I don't even have a garage. I couldn't imagine looking at my 914 sitting without driving one for more than a couple of months. It would drive me crazy. I guess its a bit of an obsession... but of all things to obsess about I imagine this one isn't too bad. Again congrats...
