Hi guys, well i rebuilt the fuel pump or should say gave it new o rings. not to hard just don't let little metal cyclingers from impellar drop on garage floor!
question is - is htere a proceedure for testing punp to see if it actually pumps. this one is the one with three ports. i hooked a hose to the suction side and one to the return but the suction one in a bottle of liquid and the return in an empty bottle turned it on and..... got zip/ do I need to hook up hose to damper port???? any suggestions will be greatlly appreciated . thank you all.

Renee, it just might need priming. Just a guess.

The "D" actually stands for "Druck", the German word for "pressure". Damper is incorrect, there actually is no damper in the system (despite the factory diagram to the contrary).

If you hook up the electrical connections backwards, the pump will draw from the "D" port and push out the "S" port.
