My forum is up and running!
Guys,
I really hate to answer certain questions on certain forums, especially those concerning prices and etc. I have become a sponsor for Germanlok.com and with that came a forum of my own just to chat about our shop in general, and cover all the things that are not normally proper etiquette on forums such as this one. Since you are 914 owners, and most of us have the VW TIV engine feel free to visit my forum located here http://www.germanlook.com/Forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=29 and post any question that you may have about our products, research and pricing. The main website for this forum is centered around beetles, but it is still very interesting and you can learn/share alot...they accept 914s for sure..LOL I have sent an email to over 200 of my previous customers and have asked them for their input on the forum in educating my future customers on what we have done for them. Hopefully this will educate my customers better and answer many questions that people have before they start a project with me. I just wanted to invite you over, ad it to your browser as I may not be around this forum very much now,but I will stop and chat a bit....if you want to find me visit http://www.germanlook.com/Forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=29 register and join in.

Must be popular already. I can't get there because it says it's too busy.

Yep. Your going to see more of this real soon. I'm getting tired of being "told" where to buy my parts. I want a neutral place where I (and others) can speak freely about vendors and parts without constantly being reminded on "where to buy them".
Should be fun. B |

Told where to buy parts?????
I am just a newby compared to most of you but nobody has told me where to buy my parts on this forum. P.P. has given me the best service at a fair price. when I screwed up on a order they were very nice about it. That does not mean that I cant enjoy all the other forums that support the 914 cause.

I guess I am "sponsered" restorer, so to say. I get a little discount. I have bought nearly everything for my vw/porsche (punn) from
LAKECITY BOW-WOW Not so subliminal free advert- i mean props! Just last week I got a 19 mm MC for $...... uh oopps! I guess its not that big o' deal. I enjoy generating revenue for my area and "prefer" dealing with my FLAPS peeps. lol
