GT-1 Spyder or 914?

Gunnar Racing calls this a GT-1 Spyder but I think it is the latest 914 from the factory. What do you think?

I wanted to call this post "Look what I've done with my car" but I didn't think anyone would believe me. It must be nice to have the ability and resources to do this to a car at a moments notice. Oh, and the money, too.

Porsche must hate the 914. I mean they reverse engineered a 911 back into a 914 but they call it a GT-1.

Everyone knows that the 914 is / was a crappy car and a crappy concept.
The GT1, Boxster and new Carrera GT have nothing in common with the 914

I checked the Gunnar website ( www.gunnarracing.com )
Lots 'o cool projects they have going on (including 2 wicked 914s)
Very cool to see that the rear-end of this GT1 Spyder comes off so easily (engine, tranny and rear suspension)
What struck me most was the fact that they called it a "simple" car...

Us mortal souls can only wonder

Cheers,

Jeroen
