OK- now everything seems to be almost cool. Still having trouble posting replies to some threads and some pictures not showing up. Getting there though.

First clear your browser cache for 914world. Your browser probably has the error message cached.

If that doesn't work, flush your DNS settings. If you can't flush them manually, shutting off and then restarting the device should do the trick.

Thanks Andy but still no good. I don't get what is wrong. Both Pc's and my phone will not connect. If use the IP address I can get to the 914world landing page, but if I try to click on any of the headers I get the same HTTP 404 error.

Well at least I'm not alone. If I use the IP address 74.208.79.43 it will get me to the main landing page and from there I can read some of the topics, but cant login or much else.

Interesting. Works here at work, did not work at home this morning--even after clearing the cache. If it's still not playing nicely when I get home, I'll see if bouncing the router helps.

Really so frustrating. I have done everything...... cleared cache, flushed DNS, rebooted the router, rebooted the computers and phone. WTF. The phone is a Samsung S6 and NOT hooked to our home WiFi. This crap really gets on my nerves. Now if it had a motor & steering wheel I could at least troubleshoot it and understand how it works. GRRRRRRRR

My guess is that the DNS is cached in your router or in case of your mobile somewhere at your provider.
It can take up to 48 hours for some of them to refresh their DNS. It's only been 24 hours since i switched the DNS over to the new servers.

At this point you might have to wait another day or two for the DNS changes to properly propagate to your provider.

If you have control over your main DNS server setup, try using 8.8.8.8 for that. I know that one works.

Trying to use 74.208.79.43 won't get you past the splash page since the board uses the actual domain name to link between pages.

Im in the same boat. Then I believe that Andy mentioned that it could take 24 / 48 additional hours for servers to update to new data / hosting site -
I only log on via my android, so if and when Sprint schedules the update, I will be in the same situation. ..
