relay board 14 pin connector question?
Can anybody tell me about pin 12 and 14. Both are battery wires. Is one current from the battery and the other current to the battery?
Also pin 13 is a black wire with red stripe. Where is this wire going to? Finally pin 7 is a black wire with purple stripe. where does this wire hook up to? Thanks, Buck |
Hi,
Pin 7 is for the tach signal (going to the tach). Pin 12 & 14 seem to bring power to the relay board. One for a fuse (14) and (12) going to the 'power supply' relay. Marc-Andre Morin 70 914-6 conversion 3.0L Webers |
Yup, M-A has it. The black/red wire supplies "switched" power to the coil.
