Anyone running 8" rear fuchs and GT flares?
Looking to see if anyone is running 8" Fuchs rears (911 offset) with GT flares?
What width tire are you running? Did you use a spacer? What length studs? What about the front? Are you running 7" Fuchs in the front? Same question? Just looking for the correct stud/spacer combination to fill out the flares? Thanks, |
Karl, I run 8 x 15 Fuchs on the rear, with 1/4-in (7mm) spacers and 225/50/15 Yokohama AVS. No problems. My track wheels are 9 x 16 with 245/45/16's which also fit, not by much, but they do fit.
Fronts are 7 x 15 with 225/50/15 Yokohamas also. I run 1-in (25mm) spacers with 65 mm studs. I have standard length studs on the rear, I don't recall the size, (54mm ?) Standard 911 rear size. Ed |

I have 215/60 Yokohama A378's on 15" X 8" Fuch copies with 25mm wheel spacers on the front. I have 235/60 Yokohamas on 15" X 8" Fuch copies with 25mm wheel spacers on the rear. Glas GT flares. I could have used a thinner spacer on the rear like the others. I think I installed 75mm studs. I can't really remember. I did the conversion many years ago now.

Finadict,
Just when I thought the 16x7's were gonna do it for me, I see your car. Nice job! Are your rear flares glass or steel? What did you do for side rocker panels? How did you mold/cut the openings for exhaust on rear valance? Are those 6's or 7's up front? John |
John
Sorry for the delay in answering, I believe they are 7s up front. The rear flares are glass, the rocker panel and rear valance I made to match the lines on the flares. |
finadict, are you from the NW? Like Seattle? Id love to see your car in person!
