Front Valance/Spoiler Suggestions

Hello!

I currently have a 'big bumper' 75 with the stock front valance pan. I would like to improve the looks with a front spoiler and am just looking for suggestions. The car is used as a weekender, no racing etc. so I don't require minimal clearance. Also, I have a couple of average curbs / speed humps to go travel over

I've seen a number of spoilers out there (flexdam, special edition, ultimate competition, scoop, etc.) but I do not often see these mounted on a 75-76 so if anyone has a pic or suggestions, let me know.

The oil cooler installation is interesting. Copper lines? From the factory? Maybe not such a bad thing afterall.

Hey that hood prop looks like OE Lotus!

That GT front valance bulges to match the flares, so you'll have to chop those off, no big deal. Other than that and the oil cooler cutout the appearance of the valance itself is no different than the stock steel unit.

THe LE unit is clean with good clearance.

Mine will have a 'boy racer' kind of spoiler (not sure I'll like it) and I'll post pics when it's installed.

Don't use the 914-6 GTs as examples of well-thought-out engineering. They are full of what I consider "factory hacks"--this being one of them. And running the oil lines through the driver's footwell is another one...

For the most part, the GT cars were "just get it together and on the track NOW" cars. It does not seem like a huge amount of thought went into the modifications.
