Engine Specs.

I'm looking for a complete list of dimensions for the 2.0 litre engine. In particular I would like to get all bearing dims. including rods and wrist pins.

You need a spec book. I don't know if PP has then, but they are available. I got a first printing (pages were yellowed) for $10 from a fellow in san Jose. If PP doesn't have them, try:http://www.my-porsche.com/link2.htm#tech, they are listed at $23.27 each

With out a doubt the best reference for rebuilding an aircooled VW motor is Tom Wilson's book on the subjest. Omly about $12 (maybe Pelicen has them?) at B&N online or your local Borders Books. Next I would say the Spec book or the Lash International book, then of coarse is Haynes, but Haynes can be a little (British!?!?!) vauge.
