The 914/6 had a different steering column than the 914/4 and the splines for the wheel are also different. You can get the same style, but you have to order the wheel that will fit.....

I put a Dino wheel in my 74 914 2.0. It requires a Dino hub adaptor, and I
had to put slightly longer screws in with 1/2 " nylon spacers to bring the
wheel closer to me and give back knuckle clearance on the signal and wiper
levers. It looks and feels great. I got it from Automotion (they are on the
web) theay also sell them at Performance Parts (also on the web). I would
have bought it gladly from Pelican Parts but they don't sell them... good
luck, Dave Thompson

All the MOMO wheels will fit with the correct adapter (their bolt hole dia is the same). There are available from any place that handles MOMO accessories. If PP doesn't have them, you can do a search for "MOMO" with Altavista and there are several mail order places. My race 914 has a Dino wheel and it is real small in diameter, but the car has a quick steering rack in it so it is nice, but you can't see the top of the tach. I had to turn the Autometer sideways (yes they do fit).
