Mocal oil cooler problems

Having a little problem with my mocal...

I'm getting some leaking very small drops) from around were the AN fitting screws onto the oil cooler.

The side of the braided cable that I put together is not leaking at all but the other end, the blue end is leaking on both nipples of the mocal. I tightened them up pretty well, but the male end of the mocal looks like alum and I didn't want to crank it on to much more for fear of cracking it.

Anybody had similar incident or any sugestions for me. Thught about coating the threads with a sealant but not sure if that's kosher.

I had the same issue with an Earl's cooler, plumbers tape made it go away in about 10 minutes.

If no more leaking is kosher, then this is kosher.
