Window regulator question??
 

This may be a stupid question, but without a set of early and late doors to compare I thought I'd ask you all. Is it possible to retrofit the early style doors with a later style (73+) window and regulator. I've owned both early and late cars and always liked the later windows/regulators. I really don't want to swap doors to get them. Is this possible??

no, it's not possible. the door shells are different internally because of the different window systems.

You could probably fabricate some custom brackets or something to put late style window mechanisims in your early doors. But I doubt it's worth the hassle.
