djust valves on 1973 1.7
was adjusting valve today everthing was goin good till i got to the last one #4 exhaust adusted valve but i always just wiggle it to make sure it has som free play when i'm done with each one this one i can acually pull it back to the push rod 1/8" gap feels like a spring any idea's

1973 1.7 adust valves
tried todo the same on #4 intake rock soild one other note just got car pulled motor adjusted valve then but did .006 intake .008 exhaust specs call for .006 car put engine in and ran good but a little noisy hence reajust also when i adjusted the valves the first time the original owner had these little caps on valve stems took them off

1973 1.7 adust valves
well i pulled my rocker arm assy pushrod and tube then the lifter and there hydrallic does anybody know how to adjust these ?

On a type 4 motor i converted to hydraulic lifters it was touching plus one turn.
